On March 31, 2026, Omar was involved in a serious motorcycle accident through no fault of his own when he was struck by a school bus. He was admitted to Piedmont Hospital, where he remained for two days receiving urgent medical care. Omar is now home, but his recovery journey is just beginning. He suffered eight broken ribs, a fractured scapula, a fractured T1 vertebrae, internal bleeding, and severe road rash. Due to the extent of his injuries, he is currently unable to work and faces a long and challenging healing process. During this difficult time, we are asking our community to come together and support Omar as he focuses on recovery.
