Dear friends of the swim community, On October 10, 2025, Bill David Gibson passed away, leaving behind his beloved wife Deb, their sons Ryan, Cory and Sam, and a wide circle of family and friends.  For over 31 years, Deb and Bill shared a life rooted in love, friendship and service. Bill built a career in IT and accounting, he loved golf, cycling, travel, blues & jazz, and most of all time with loved ones and friends.  Meanwhile, Deb has given countless hours to our swim community — volunteering at events for USA Swimming and supporting swimmers, coaches and families with tireless generosity. In this moment of heavy loss and transition, we want to show her what she’s meant to us. Our goal is to ease the immediate practical burdens she faces: meals, groceries, gift cards, and time to reflect and heal without added stress. Your support will allow Deb to lean on the community she’s always held up for so many of us.
How you can help: • A contribution toward gift cards for meal delivery, grocery pick-up or local restaurants so Deb doesn’t have to worry about what’s for dinner. • Any size is meaningful — the idea is less about amount, more about the message: you are supported and not alone. • If you prefer, you can add a short note of encouragement for Deb so she knows you’re thinking of her.
