Many of you have been asking how you can help, so I wanted to share what’s going on and why we’re setting up a meal train. Over the weekend, Jessica was admitted to the hospital after having some very high blood pressures. What she thought was supposed to be a quick lab draw turned into an unexpected 36 hour admission to be on a magnesium drip. When she thought the doctor was coming in to discharge she was told she would be staying in the hospital until she delivers her baby at 34 weeks (October 15). Baby will then likely spend about a month in the NICU afterward. 🍼💙 This means she’ll be in the hospital for the next two weeks, and Stephen and the kids are at home balancing school, work, and life without her there. As you can imagine, it’s a huge emotional, financial and physical strain on the whole family. We know this is a short-term sacrifice that will be worth every bit once baby arrives safely, but in the meantime, we can rally around them. One of the best ways we can help is by making sure meals are one less thing Stephen has to worry about. That’s why I’ve set up this meal train for the next 6 weeks—through her hospital stay, delivery, and baby’s NICU time. Even if the schedule doesn’t completely fill, every bit helps. Gift cards or DoorDash are also wonderful for the family if cooking/delivering isn’t possible. Thank you so much for your love, prayers, and support for Jessica and her family during this time. 💛
No allergies, kids are pretty simple in terms of what they prefer to eat but anything will be appreciated.
