Caring for Kim, One Meal at a Time

W
Story

Our dear friend and coworker, Kim Rose, is a dedicated Registered Nurse at Clarks Summit State Hospital who has spent her career caring for others. Now, it's our turn to care for her. Kim was recently hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and faces a long road to recovery. As a single mother of two teenage daughters who mean the world to her, Kim has always worked hard to provide for her family. During this difficult and uncertain time, we want to come together as her work family, friends, and community to help ease some of the everyday burdens so she can focus on what matters most—her health, recovery, and her girls. We are organizing this Meal Train to provide Kim and her daughters with meals, comfort, and support in the weeks ahead. There are several ways you can help: Sign up to provide a homemade meal. Arrange for a meal to be delivered from a local restaurant or Door Dash Send a gift card Make a monetary contribution through Venmo to help with meals and other household needs. No gesture is too small, and every act of kindness makes a difference. Kim has been a valued member of our nursing family, and we want her to know that she is not facing this journey alone. Whether you can provide a meal, make a donation, or simply share words of encouragement, your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated. Let's rally around Kim and her girls just how much they are loved and supported. With heartfelt thanks, Kim's Friends, Family and Coworkers at Clarks Summit State Hospital
