I started this page to get help with healthy food. I was working 100+ hours a day week in 2022. Then my health went downhill fast. I have thyroid cancer that’s on a watch and wait , adrenal tumors on both glands and polycythemia Vera , which can lead to leukemia if I don’t have a pint of blood taken out every month. My right knee is fused. So I don’t drive anymore. My cardiologist and respiratory therapist have told me to eat a very clean diet. Which is nearly impossible as Ssdi only brings in 1075 a month. My rent is 800. So I have very little after all the bills are paid. I do have food stamps. The minimal amount for one person. I buy what I can then it runs out by the middle of the month. My dream is to get back to work and become independent again. I miss my job.
