As most of you know Alicia has had back problems for several years and has had a prior surgery. Unfortunately, she needs another back surgery as she has been in tremendous pain for some time now. Her surgery has been scheduled for Decmeber 15th 2025. Her back became acutely worse last week and she will need to rest and stay off her feet until then. She went to the hospital this week to try and get them to move up her procedure but they could not. She will need to stay on heavy pain meds and multiple muscle relaxants until surgery. She truly needs the love and suport of her friends and coworkers to get throught this trying time. She did successfully rehome her dogs and horses as she can no longer care for them. Sadly, her two older cats were sickly and she elected to humanely euthanize them. Her daughter Ella will be home for a few weeks for the Christmas holiday but will have to go back to college in January. Any help we can all provide her now will be greatly appreciated.
Alicia has no dietary restrictions but prefers to avoid some foods such as the following: pizza, brussel sprouts, lima beans, sweet potatoes. She would love meals in smaller portions so she can put them in the freezer for easy reheating. Having foods already in freezer bags would be helpful also. Crockpot prepped meals would be very easy for her; just put the ingredients into the pot and cook--please include crock pot liners for easy clean up. Alicia is not the best about responding to messages and emails, but she like receiving them. She loves to know you're thinking of her, she just isn't great at responding. She asks that you not take it personally, she does it to everyone even her family and daughter. So feel free to reach out to her via text or messenger, she would like that, though if you ask her a question, you may not get an answer.
