May Carrasquillo is a Leo, loves carnations, wears hot pink lipstick every time she leaves the house and LOVES her daughter, Lupita. May worked for Chicago Public Schools for 18 years, she is strong and kind. Last year, May was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and after chemotherapy, surgeries, endless doctors appointments and ER visits her cancer has progressed past treatments, hospice has begun and she is nearing the end of her battle. Even in her poor condition caring for her family is still May’s top priority. She is reminding family to eat, keep the house clean and stocked with supplies, making sure the pets are cared for as well as each other.
