I've started this page because I need a little help getting back in my feet, I moved from New York to South Carolina to stay with my mother and her husband a little over a year ago to get clean and for a fresh start on life and unexpectedly had my daughter, Kalista May 10th 2025. She is the best thing to ever happen to me and I just want to be able to provide for her. The farher was supposed to move down here from NY as well but that clearly isnt happening at this point, so he is not in the picture. I'm looking for help with housing, mainly. Section 8 in this area hasn't had any waiting lists open for the past 8 months that I've been checking. Any real information would be super helpful, I currently live in Horry County, SC. I am looking into working from home but it's a little hard to find the time raising my daughter by myself. My mother and her husband have been very supportive, but I need to start taking control, just a little help with a head start and I would be able to get ahead. Anything, any help at all, even if it's just a dollar is so deeply appreciated.
