I've started this page because I need a little help getting back in my feet, I moved from New York to South Carolina to stay with my mother and her husband a little over a year ago to get clean and for a fresh start on life and unexpectedly had my daughter, Kalista May 10th 2025. She is the best thing to ever happen to me and I just want to be able to provide for her. I'm looking for help with housing, mainly. Section 8 in this area hasn't had any waiting lists open for the past 8 months that I've been checking. I am looking into working from home but it's a little hard to find the time raising my daughter by myself. My mother and her husband have been very supportive, but I need to start taking control, just a little help with a head start and I would be able to get ahead. Anything, any help at all, even if it's just a dollar is so deeply appreciated.
