i was addicted to drugs for over 20 years!! I was homeless and would shoplift everyday to support my habit. Almost two years ago my granddaughter was born and when I met her I quit everything to help take care of her and because she gave me what I needed to change my life around!! She’s the sweetest baby I’ve ever met and she gave me peace. Now I have another grandchild coming in October! I worked for a year for someone for a year and was not paid ! I was promised that her house would be selling soon and I would get a big bonus if I’d wait to sell the house, but it never came. I thought if I quit all the work I did would be for nothing but that’s what I had to wind up doing. for someone like me that was on drugs for so long. I thought over so many times being addicted to drugs, but this time starting over being sober has been a struggle. I’m going to be helping raising another grandchild soon and need help starting over but this time sober. I need help with a down payment for a place for myself and granddaughter and furnishings. Hopefully soon I will get the money owed to me but that doesn’t help me now! Thank u if u can help. My granddaughter turns 2 in a week and I’ve been sober in 3 weeks for 2 years
