With all the negative right now please take a moment to cherish the WONDERFUL news I'm going to share! Our family is beyond excited, nervous, apprehensive, humbled, and super ecstatic that we received the call that .... COLE IS GETTING A KIDNEY JULY 7TH!!!!! ....last year at this time Cole was going to recieve a kidney from a donor, our friend Amber, when labs revealed that Coles blood changed, and Amber was no longer a match. That didn't stop her.. She's said from day one that God told her she was going to be involved with Cole getting a kidney and thanks ALL to her, he is!!! Amber signed up for the SWAP program where she'll give her kidney to anyone in exchange around the country for a kidney for Cole. Another family from Chicago is in the same program and Cole will recieve his kidney from a 33 yr old healthy matching donor July 7th at Shands in Gainesville. Due to COVID 19, Only 2 guests can accompany Cole and no visitors are allowed in the waiting area. We are asking that you please continue to support Cole in this journey by lifting Cole, the hospital staff, the donor, and Amber up in prayer during the coming days. This is Coles 2nd transplant so the risks of rejection are high. Cole is already on home quarantine and our family will be quarentined for 6 weeks after his transplant, as they have advised us it is critical for him not to come into contact with people and potential illness. The common cold could be critical and even kill him if he contracted it after transplant. Thank you EVERYONE for all the years of continued prayers, love, support, and awareness.
