On July 5th, 2025 Ofc. Peterson’s fiancée unexpectedly passed away. Amanda moved up here for her job at Spring Creek Correctional Center and does not have any family here in Seward. Her work family would like to start a meal train so that she does not have to worry about cooking during this time.
