On April 25th, the Blockhead community woke up to the news that one of our favorites, Charlene from California, was undergoing emergency surgery. Up until that point, she was unknowingly walking around on a broken femur, resulting from cancer metastasizing to her hip. Thankfully, Charlene's surgery was a success and she is resting comfortably at home, surrounded by her loving husband and daughter, and their four furbabies. The next step is lots of physical therapy and a double mastectomy, so she has a long road to recovery. What can we say about Charlene? She is sweet, funny, and full of life. Many Blockheads know her as a Joe Girl, NSYNC fan, and the honorary West Coast correspondent on the popular 80s/90s and NKOTB podcast My So-Called Whatever with Brooke and NIkki. Rest assured, once you meet Charlene, she leaves an indelible impression.
