Recently, Gia was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, a form of breast cancer that has already spread to one of her lymph nodes. She is starting 12 weeks of aggressive chemotherapy weekly on October 20th, followed by a mastectomy in 2026, reconstructive breast surgery and continued cancer care.
