Today, she and her husband Randy are facing one of the toughest challenges of their lives, and it’s our turn to surround them with that same love. Misty was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. In the face of this scary news, she has shown incredible courage. She has already undergone a double mastectomy—a major surgery requiring significant physical and emotional healing. But her fight is far from over. She is now embarking on an intensive course of chemotherapy, which will be followed by radiation. The side effects of these heavy treatments, combined with her physical recovery from surgery, make everyday life incredibly exhausting. Through every step, Randy has been right by her side, balancing caregiving, household responsibilities, and work while navigating this difficult journey. Between frequent hospital visits, treatment appointments, and managing severe fatigue, even deciding what to eat—let alone preparing and cooking meals—becomes a major burden.
