Story
As you know, our amazing friend Leah has begun her five-month chemo journey. In order to support her through this journey, we need volunteers to transport her to and from her appointments. We also hope that you can sit with her during the treatment. Her appointments are bi-weekly for the first 4 sessions and weekly for the next 12. Please see the calendar for the treatment dates and times and volunteer where you can. Please plan to pick Leah up at home 45 minutes before the scheduled appointment time! When transporting her to her treatment, we are asking that you stay with her AT LEAST until she has met with the DR. If for any reason they cannot do the treatment, she will need to be taken home. Please be aware that this schedule could change. It will depend upon how she reacts to the treatments. Please be patient and flexible where possible. Special Notes
Be aware that Leah is VERY sensitive to smells after Chemo. If you are planning to spend the day with her, please be sure to select both time slots on that day. That way we know who is transporting both ways! Or select both if you plan to cover transportation both ways!!
