Single mom in need of help

W
Story

I am a single mother who has always worked hard to provide for my daughter. About a year ago, I was abruptly fired from my high-paying job. The manager responsible was later let go after several complaints about her misuse of power, but the damage was already done. I drained my savings just trying to stay afloat and keep our lives stable. Eventually, I found a new job, but it pays about $1200 less than what I was used to. I took it in hopes of plugging the hole that was draining my account, but it hasn't been enough. Then, on May 16th, a tornado hit St. Louis, MO, and it took the rest of my savings. Since then, I've been doing everything I can to get back to regular life, but it's been a struggle. My bills have piled up—utilities, rent, loans, and credit card debt. I just want a fresh start so I can afford to be okay and give my daughter the security she deserves. This would mean everything to me. I really struggle asking for help because I'm usually the one helping others. My daughter and I could really use a do-over. She still gets scared every time it storms, worried that we'll be displaced again. I just want her to feel a bit secure. We would truly appreciate any help available.
