Megan’s Mass Eviction Task Force

Story

The craniotomy is scheduled for August 20th at 9am! To receive notifications of updates and to even see them you have to be a supporter. Doing that does not require you to spend any money or even interact on the page, but you do need to make an account. Below is a calendar. You can sign up for some in person visits or you can help out by picking a meal for the day. You will see two labels, Day Deputy & Night Watch. These are for the in person visits. And then you will see Breakfast or Dinner, when you choose one it gives you options on how to go about this. But please do not feel obligated. That is not the only reason I made this page. I wanted a place for people who want to know what’s going on, and I don’t want it to be on social media. And it was getting overwhelming doing it by text or phone call. So for now this is where you can ask any question you want. And I will update when I know things for sure. And on the day of surgery I will have a friend in charge of updating so you know in real time right along with my parents and brothers. I posted a picture of my tumor above and what the report said. But to clarify I have a non cancerous tumor that started at the base of my skull and has grown up and around my optic nerve. I found this sucker because I started to lose my eyesight in my left eye. So the surgeon Dr. Tumu, seems pretty confident that he can get the whole tumor. He said that there is a possibility that I could regain some eyesight around a year after surgery. Luckily it was only choking one eye! I will be in the hospital for about three days recovering there, and then I am under house arrest for two weeks to recover some more, and for two months after that I have to move slow and lift no more than 5 pounds or something crazy like that. Don’t feel inclined to sign up on the meal train, donate, message, or do anything really. I just wanted you to know what is going on during this whole thing. If you just take a moment every now and then to close your eyes and send me some love, then you are doing the most important thing you could do for me. Thank you for being a part of my support team. And I hope this page helps everyone stay up to date on my journey. This is where I will be updating everyone till surgery day, and then my lovely friend will take over till I can text again. Feel free to message or call me anytime, I love hearing from everyone!

Special Notes

No onions, mushrooms, or broccoli for this girl! Otherwise I’m pretty easy to please when it’s comes to food.
