FDC family member and teammate, Maddy Schefe, is currently facing a difficult time as her Mom, Melissa, was recently diagnosed with ALS. ALS is a progressive condition, and its effects have intensified over a short period of time. As a result, the family is facing increased caregiving demands and emotional strain. Maddy's strength, resilience, and positive attitude inspire us every day and we want to surround her through this challenging time with the same support & encouragement she consistently gives to others. Maddy, Dad (Ken), and two older brothers are adjusting to changing needs and focusing on spending time together. Providing meals is one meaningful way we can help ease the day‑to‑day burden and surround them with our support to lighten the load on difficult days. This meal train is intended to offer practical support and remind them they are not facing this alone. Thank you for supporting Maddy and her family with love, strength, and kindness during this time. 💜💙
💟To make it easy for everyone, any meals can be left in the cooler by their front door. 💟Some favorites are: Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, and Panera 💟The friends of the family have delivered lasagna and pizza, so those meals are taken care of.
