Heather

Portland, OR

Story

Heather is finally getting her hernia and diastasis corrected after the twins did a number :) This is a big surgery to recover from, Mario is not able to take time off due to the nature of his (contract) job. So, they are leaning on the community for support- luckily kids are in school by day, but this after school gap is a time they NEED help as well as food support. The idea of cooking for 6 might sound intimidating but one big dish is great, family style. ...some inspiration... Shepards pie Enchiladas Lasagna Sheet pan dinners- veggies and sausage Taco fixings Dahl Soup Just remember gluten, soy and beef free for heather :) I am excited to put this meal/childcare train together, as Heather delivered a meal to me postpartum after we had just hung out a couple times. Feel free to contact me with any questions as well! 808-707-1112

Special Notes

Heather is allergic to gluten, soy and beef! The rest of the family can eat anything. FOOD DROP-OFF between 3-5pm would be ideal, BUT if that's not possible, please text Mario or Heather to coordinate. Mario: 503-510-1244 Heather: 612-718-4634 The more we can front load our support the better! The first few weeks are going to be some tough recovery and trying to cover all their bases.
