As many of you know, Claire and Chad welcomed their baby boy on October 17, 2022. As exciting as it was to welcome this little bundle of joy, Callum Sell, was born at only 25w 4d old, classifying him as a micro-preemie. Due to Callum being born 4 months early, he has spent over 5 months growing and learning in the hospital. For over 170 days, Claire and Chad have traveled to and from the NICU to spend time caring for and bonding with baby Callum at Sunnyside Medical Center and Doernbechers Children's Hospital. This has been a long and exhausting time for their family but Callum is finally coming home! He has met many milestones and is the Sell family's miracle baby. Though Callum has gotten strong enough to come home, he will still need extensive care and monitoring. Bringing a baby home is a beautiful and exciting time, but also very exhausting. Claire and Chad have already proven to be resilient and amazing parents, and now it is time for their community to wrap around them in support.
One way we can ease the load for Claire and Chad is by keeping them fed! Because of some logistical challenges (apartment life, keeping Callum healthy) we will not be doing a traditional "drop-off" meal train.
