After many years of living with chronic back pain that began in high school, my husband Andy is finally scheduled for back surgery. His original surgery date was June 9, but due to insurance delays, it has been rescheduled to July 14. We know these things can sometimes change, so I'll keep everyone updated if anything changes. This surgery will address two fractures that have caused him years of pain, and we're hopeful it will bring lasting relief, improve his mobility, and allow him to get back to living the active life he deserves. Andy has been the heart of our family and an incredible stay-at-home dad since our first child was born. He is the foundation of our home, always putting our family first with so much love, patience, and strength. Watching him live with chronic pain has been incredibly difficult, and we're hopeful this surgery will give him the opportunity to move more freely and enjoy life with less pain. The surgery will include three procedures and require a full day at the hospital, followed by several weeks of recovery. As we navigate this season, we're incredibly grateful for the love and support of our family and friends. Whether it's a meal, a prayer, an encouraging message, or simply keeping Andy in your thoughts, every act of kindness is truly appreciated.
