On the morning of May 4th, Jon and Rena Zody’s family home suffered a devastating fire. Thankfully, while they were out of town at the time, their niece and beloved family dog, Curry, were able to get out safely with the help of caring neighbors. After meeting with their insurance adjuster and remediation team, Jon and Rena just learned today that they will be displaced from their home for the next 3–5 months due to extensive smoke damage. This is much longer than initially anticipated. Nearly everything inside their home will need to be replaced. While insurance will help cover major repairs and larger items, the family is now facing the immediate challenge of rebuilding their day-to-day lives. They are in need of basic essentials to help them get through the coming months—items like toiletries, clothing, groceries, cleaning supplies, food storage containers, and other everyday necessities. Many have reached out asking how they can support the Zody family. After speaking with Rena, she shared that any help is deeply appreciated—not only for practical needs, but as a meaningful expression of the love, prayers, and care that will carry them through this difficult time.
