Story
Tori had a horrific stomach bug that lasted four days, two ER trips, and left her with Bells Palsy where half of her face is paralyzed. Doctors said it would be a month or two for her to recover and gain function on the left half of her face. Reid has been a true full time caregiver and rockstar for her and they are both in good spirits taking this day by day. She's quite weak and has visual deficits from the palsy, including double vision and nystagmus. She needs support when she's standing or walking, reading is very challenging for her (like texts or new med labels), and she needs someone with her all the time. Hoping that we can come up with lots of ways to support her and Reid while she recovers as comfortably as possible. I live close by to them and happy to drop off whatever we come up with!
Special Notes
Please note diet restrictions so we don't murder her already weakened stomach! **No pasta** but gnocchi is fine. Love sandwiches, pizza, salads and healthier options, Mexican, sushi, soups. The North End Juice Bar would be a great option for Tori, very easy for Reid to grab quickly as it's just around the corner from their apt in the Museum District. Electronic Gift Cards always a great option.
