Meal train for the Keith's

Salem, OR

Story

Kandy and Lane are welcoming their baby girl, Sofia, and Kandy will be recovering from a C-section. While this is a beautiful and joyful season, it is also a time when rest, healing, and support are especially important. The most helpful support right now is meals for the family as they adjust to life with a newborn. Homemade food, especially soups and broths, is deeply appreciated. Please no spicy food, and gentle, nourishing meals that help support a new mama’s healing are ideal. Meals are for Kandy, Lane, and their older child. For those who aren’t able to cook, DoorDash or Zelle contributions are also a wonderful way to help, allowing the family to order food when needed. Thank you for surrounding Kandy, Lane, and baby Sofia with love and care during this special time 💗

Special Notes

For Kandy’s recovery and the family’s well-being, please note that no spicy food is requested. To help protect baby Sofia and support Kandy’s healing during flu season, the family will be limiting in-person visits for the first month. Meal drop-offs are greatly appreciated and can be left at the door—no need to knock or stay. That said, texts, calls, and messages are always welcome and truly mean so much to them. Knowing they are surrounded by a caring and supportive community brings great comfort during this special time. Thank you for understanding and for loving this family in so many meaningful ways 💗
