Supporting the Kamm's

Rochester, NY

Story

Our wonderful colleague and friend Alyssa is one of those people who always shows up with a smile. She’s there for students when they need encouragement and for staff when we need a helping hand. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her and her family. Alyssa’s son, Lincoln, who holds a special place in our Cariola family, has been in and out of the hospital recently, and it’s been an incredibly tough time for them all. Between long days at the hospital, caring for their other child, and managing everything at home, the family has been stretched thin. Even in the hardest moments, Alyssa continues to show incredible strength, love, and courage. Through all the ups and downs, she’s faced each day with such heart, and now it’s our turn to lift her up, help carry some of that weight, and surround her family with care. We’ve created this Meal Train / Give In Kind page to help with meals and support for Alyssa, her husband Michael, Lincoln, and her daughter Aria. Providing a meal, sending a gift card, or sharing a kind message are simple ways we can give back some of the care and warmth she gives to others. 🍲 How You Can Help • Sign up to bring or send a meal to the family. • Share a restaurant, grocery, or general gift card. • Leave a message of hope or encouragement. Let’s also keep Aria, Lincoln’s twin sister, close in our hearts. This has been a challenging time for her too as she watches her brother go through so much. Aria is a bright and caring child who could use some extra love, attention, and fun moments right now. Little gestures... a small treat, a kind note, or a thoughtful surprise... can help remind her that she’s seen, supported, and cared for too. 💛 Every meal, every act of kindness, and every word of love will remind Alyssa & Lincoln that her work family is holding her up… just like she’s done for all of us. 💕

Special Notes

Alyssa is allergic to almonds & seafood (shellfish). Lincoln, unfortunately, is not tolerating much oral intake and is getting nutrition through an NG tube.
