Hello dear friends of Burneta Clayton, our beloved longtime Art & Soul member and artist extraordinaire! We are reaching out to ask for your support for Burneta at a difficult time. Last week Burneta unfortunately had a fall, injured herself, and was dealing with major pain. Today, on Dec 5, Burneta was admitted to hospital at Saint Thomas West. They are doing x-rays and monitoring her heart. Right now, she could use our support through visits to hospital, and then once she's back at home by getting visits and delivered meals. (For now, Nalani has committed to daily care for Burneta's cat while Burneta is in hospital.) Ideally, while in hospital, two priority visitor slots would be ideal -- one early in day and one later in afternoon or evening. Please look at schedule to see where you can offer support. You can check back here to find added days and updates on whether she is still in hospital or at home, as I get info. Once she's back home, two visits a day, morning and evening with shared meal would be ideal. Of course, cards and messages of support welcome, too.
