Urban Impact

For those of you who cannot make it to our July 2nd Day of Service (or are interested in supporting as many cases as possible), HBK has the opportunity to volunteer at Urban Impact's Steelers Football Clinic, set for June 18th at Richie McCabe Field on Pittsburgh’s North Side. This marks HBK's second consecutive year of involvement in this event! Urban Impact is asking for three groups to assist in running this summer day camp, which will run from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. If you would like to participate, please sign up by June 11th. 3 HBK Groups @ Richie McCabe Field Steelers @ Urban Impact Summer Day Camp - June 18th, 2024 (*Reserve parking spots @ Allegheny Center Alliance Church) 9:30am-11:45am - Setup Team - Retrieve, load up and setup tents, temporary fencing, pennants, field cones, signage, equipment & supplies. Pickup trash @ field. (15) 12pm-2pm - Event Team - Assist with lunch distribution & cleanup, assist with clinic crowd control, perimeter, and Restroom sanitation, assist @ water stations. (10-15) 2pm-4pm - Tear Down Team: Take down, load up and return to storage tents, temporary fencing, pennants, field cones, signage, equipment & supplies. Pickup trash @ field.
