Hey guys, it's Ocean. I don't know how I was put here as the one with "a way with words," but here we are. I am sure, by now, you have seen that George was in an accident on his motorcycle on July 14th. He survived and it definitely could have been a lot worse. The details are not mine to share, but George is going to be out of work for a long time, and I would prefer his only concern be to heal and get back home so here is where you come in! Mom is also recovering from knee surgery right now, and I think it would be extremely helpful for her to not have to worry about cooking dinner. I have a calendar set up, starting Monday July 20th, until the end of the year. Monday, we are hoping to get a more positive update about George hopefully coming home! Even if he has to stay for longer, food is an essential, so let's get this Sutherland Support Train started!
Dinners are the main subject, but any and all help will be taken and appreciated! Feel free to contact me directly if you would like to help in other ways such as grocery shopping, transportation, lawn care, pet care, etc. Visits will only happen if you have asked via text or call, and please take all unanswered messages as a 'No.' Again friendly reminder that 'No' is a full sentence, this is not about us or you, and any issues will be taken up with me personally. So make good choices. 🫶 In all seriousness, though, every single offer to help is appreciated, we will make it through this, and together, we are stronger than ever. All help is welcome, I am sure all visits will be welcome, but don't rush the man for information.
