Yesterday, our ASAS family was hit with heartbreaking news. Our colleague and friend, Catherine, lost her mother. Losing a loved one is never easy, but experiencing such a profound loss during the holiday season makes it even more overwhelming. Catherine has always been someone who shows up for others and her students—with kindness, with dedication, and with heart. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her. As she navigates this difficult time and begins the emotional and financial process of arranging her mother’s funeral, we want to help take at least one burden off her plate. No one should have to face these responsibilities alone, especially during a time of grief.
