Hello friends! As some of you know, I’m having top surgery this Tuesday, October 15. I'm super excited and it feels very surreal that it's finally happening after what feels like a million years! I have done a lot of work to prepare and will have folks staying with my in the initial days to help out. After that, I will need some community support with meals, household tasks, and human contact while I'm recovering—that's where you come in! I won't be able to lift my arms above my shoulders or do any heavy lifting for several weeks, so I would very much appreciate help with things like dishes, meal prep, recycling/garbage, and cleaning. Signing up commits you to a meal or task support and could also include a hang, depending on what I’m up for that day. Feel free to text and we can coordinate timing! No pressure to sign up, btw.
