Hi friends, Many of you know that I’ve been facing some ongoing health challenges over the past couple of years. Recently, I had an unexpected surgery and am now home recovering with limited mobility and a PICC line for the next six weeks while being treated for a staph infection. (Second time since 2024) God’s timing has been evident through all of this though. I went to the doctor on a Thursday and ended up having surgery the very next day. After six days in the hospital, I came home to recover. By God’s perfect planning, Tim already had vacation scheduled for this week, allowing him to be home to care for me when I need it most. Right now, I’m unable to do much on my own. I need a walker to get around, and I’m also dealing with an active Crohn’s disease flare, and mental health issues which has made recovery even more challenging. Tim has been taking care of everything—meals, cleaning, household responsibilities, and helping me with daily activities. So many of you have reached out asking how you can help, and we are so grateful. As Tim heads back to work next week , meals will be one of the biggest ways to help take some pressure off our family. If you'd like to support us during this season, we've set up this Meal Train as an easy way to do that. More than anything, we appreciate your prayers, encouragement, and support. Thank you for loving our family so well. I am continually reminded of God’s goodness through the kindness of His people. We love you all, and I know God is carrying us through this season.
No nuts or seeds If you have any kind of cut or sickness I can not be around you as the staph infection can be contagious in those instances and I have 0 immune system at this time. We are simple people and like just about everything.
