We’re starting this to rally around the Harvell family after Nathan was admitted to the ICU on Friday, February 28th due to a brain bleed. While there are still many unknowns, Nathan is under the best care with an incredible team of doctors supporting him — and he is FIGHTING! During this unimaginable time, we know their community wants to come together in a tangible way to lift some of the daily burdens they’re facing. This site will serve as a central place for encouragement and ways to support the Harvells so they can focus fully on Nathan’s health and the road ahead.
We are hoping to start small by taking a few things off of their mind! On Sundays, there are a two ways to help them prepare for their week ahead- providing a homecooked meal and dropping off some grocery items to get them through the week! With the unknown day-to-day situations, the meal ideally would be easy to heat up in the moment or later on and would make for good leftovers throughout their week if need be. For the groceries, it would be most helpful to have things for them to grab on the go- as we know their already busy schedule, just got busier. Thinking fresh cut fruit/veggies, things easy to throw in a lunchbox or backpack for school snacks, things to grab before a practice/visit to the hospital, and breakfast items/snacks to have on hand. There are two other nights that are listed for more on-the-go meal options on Wednesday and Friday evenings. If you feel inclined to help in a different way, please see the Wishlist section of the website. This can be used for easy Target pickups, Amazon deliveries for the kids needs/entertainment for long hours at the hospital, and caffine for a Starbucks pick me up. There will be a large cooler on their porch for you to conveniently deliver the items during the timeslot listed! This contactless drop off eliminates the need to coordinate with Kelly, as she is managing so many things already. Drop off time is 4 p.m. to leave them time to figure out the logistics of the evening! Please feel free to leave a little note/card of encouragment to bring a smile to their faces. Their address is 17715 Melrose Rd. Wildwood, MO 63038. If you are sending an e-gift card, please email it to [email protected]. Above all, please continue sending prayers to Nathan, Kelly, Emme, Ayla, Lily, and Clark during this time- they need all of them as they navigate the coming weeks and Nathan continues the fight of his life. THANK YOU for helping support the Harvell family, we all know that they will apprciate this more than they can express!
