I am currently pregnant and raising my wonderful 3 -year-old child. Right now, our most pressing challenge is housing. We urgently need a safe, stable place to stay to prepare for the arrival of the new baby. Balancing the demands of a pregnancy and caring for a young child makes finding and securing a lease incredibly challenging without immediate financial backing. We do not currently have a permanent place to call home, and the stress of housing insecurity is taking a toll as my due date approaches.
