Our friend, Mary Beth

Story

If you know Mary Beth, you know how much she means to the people in her life. She is fun, makes people laugh, brings people together and is the kind of friend who makes life better by just being in it. Recently, Mary Beth received the difficult news that she has breast cancer. She just started chemotherapy & treatment and is just beginning to learn what the weeks and months ahead will look and feel like. At home, she has Scott by her side, along with their high-school senior, Tommy and Katherine who is away at college. As a family, they are navigating something entirely new and so many of us who love them have been asking the same question: How can we help?? For now, the simplest ways we can support them is by taking dinner off their plate once a week. Because treatment is just beginning, Mary Beth doesn't yet know what she'll need, what will sound good to eat or what will be most helpful on the days following chemotherapy. At this time, we are only scheduling one dinner per week. We will continue to update this page and add additional opportunities to help as her treatment progresses and she has a better sense of what she and her family need. Whether you sign up for a meal, send a gift card, leave a note of encouragement or simply keep Mary Beth and her family in your thoughts, please know how much that love and support means! Right now, our job is simply to surround the woman who has brought so much laughter, fun and joy into all of our lives with the same love in return. Thank you for being part of her village.
