Christian Stuckey Return Home Meal Train

Story

On February 22, our lives changed in an instant when Christian suffered a spinal cord stroke. As a result, he lost feeling from the waist down and began a long and uncertain road to recovery. What followed has been weeks of incredible strength, perseverance, and hope. Christian spent two weeks at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, followed by five weeks in an inpatient rehabilitation facility. Through intensive therapy, determination, and sheer grit, he has made remarkable progress. Today, we are grateful to share that Christian is now able to walk with the help of crutches—something that once felt impossibly far away. Christian will be returning home on April 10, which is a huge milestone for our family. While we celebrate how far he has come, daily life still includes ongoing therapy, recovery, and adjustments to a new normal. Meals provided through this page will be an incredible support as we focus on healing and being together as a family. Thank you for your generosity, prayers, encouragement, and kindness. We are deeply grateful for the love and support surrounding Christian and our family during this journey.

Special Notes
