How Can I Help? Updated by Lynn Skluzacek Chris and Seann are seeking care in the way of personal contact and in person caregiving. What would that look like for me as family and friends of Chris and Seann? Do you have 20 minutes? Give Chris a call and provide some encouragement. Talk about your day or some topic other than her treatments. Share some good news or a funny story. Do you want an update on her treatments? Give Seann a call for those details. Do you have a couple of hours? If you are local, pay Chris a visit at home or at the hospital. She would love to see you! Do you have 1-3 days to spend in Houston? THIS IS THE BIGGEST NEED RIGHT NOW!!! They are not seeking financial assistance as much as in person human touch!!! What would a helpful visit to Houston look like? Spending time with Chris, taking her to medical appointments, light housekeeping such as dishes and laundry. Chris is VERY fatigued and would so apprectiate your visit. This would help raise her spirits, which will help her physically and emotionally! It would allow Seann to spend some time at work, which has been difficult during this time. It takes a village to care for someone going through cancer treatments. Chris and Seann have tried to do as much as they can for the last couple of months, but they are now realizing how support would so helpful. If you would like additional details or have additional questions, please ask! Lynn Skluzacek (adopted sister) 214-949-3734
As far as proving meals, Chris has many dietary restrictions which makes sending meals difficult. All foods need to be fully cooked (no raw veggies, berries, kimchi, etc).
