Our mom, Nikki, has been fiercely battling kidney cancer since 2018. Throughout this journey, she has shown incredible strength, faith, and perseverance. As her disease has continued to progress, our family has reached a season where we need a little extra support from our community. This page was created as a way for friends, family, and her sports community to come alongside us with practical help, prayer, and encouragement. Support with meals, grocery gift cards, and transportation—especially on days when we are unable to drive—will help ease the daily load and allow us to focus on caring for our mom and spending meaningful time together. Meijer and Sam’s Club gift cards are especially helpful for groceries. When meals are provided, a vegetarian option is preferred, as half of our household follows a vegan/vegetarian diet. We are currently a household of ten, and every act of kindness is deeply appreciated. Most of all, we ask for your continued prayers—for our mom’s strength and comfort, for peace in our home, and for God’s presence to be felt in every moment. We are so grateful for the love, generosity, and faith shown to our family during this time. All of the prayers and support mean more than we can express.
At this time, our family is open to scheduled visits, as Nikki truly values time spent with loved ones. Because we are currently living life minute by minute, visit plans may need to change depending on how Nikki is feeling that day. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility if a visit needs to be adjusted, shortened, or rescheduled. Please know that this is never a reflection of how much the visit is valued—it simply allows us to care for Nikki in the best way possible on any given day.
