Hello Family & Friends First off thank you to all of our family and friends that have sent us a well wishes, food, and get well cards. I (Monica) decided to create this page for those that would like to donate a meal to help us navigate our current life situations. JJ had a seizure on June 6th a few days before my mom's scheduled kidney donation. We spent a night at the Baytown Methodist. He's now on a strict no driving no work restriction per the doctor. Granny Sally donated her kidney on June 10th. She is still currently in the hospital due to complications. We are praying she can come home with us asap! Her prescence at home is deeply missed. Mateo had his scheduled eye muscle correction surgery June 26th (both eyes). He was and is still the bravest boy! He's giving us, mom and dad, the hardest time about his eye drops but overall he is back to his usual silly self 💛 I (Monica), rarely talk about myself when discussing our family because their issues are bigger than mine. But full transparency I have been struggling with a cyclical sinus infection/bronchitis. I've been to the doctor 3 times this month, but somehow still have a cough that sounds like I'm a 3 pack a day smoker (per JJ). I don't want to jinx it, but out of all of us Uncle Johnny is trucking a long and going with the flow! Praise Jesus!!! The idea didn't occur to me to ask for anything until my sweet neighbor, Sarah, brought over food for dinner one evening and my cousin Griselda sent us a late night snack (cookies from the Baked Bear, YUM). This statement has never been more true, food is the ingredient that binds us together! Any help is very much appreciated! Once again a BIG thank you to all those that have prayed for us!
