I am almost 60 yrs old, alone and scared. After 8 years of feeling miserable, test after test, specialist after specialist, several hospital stays I have finally received answers, diagnosed with rare autoimmune disease called DERMATOMYTOTIS TIF1-gamma positive, this causes severe flesh burning of skin all over my body, life altering and extremely painful. I had to leave my job in December 2023 due to infections, then on top of it all in March ( this year) diagnosed with cancer cells in my marrow, just completed 3 rounds of chemo in MN for 28 days having to go back May 17th. I am from Nebraska and it’s a haul. I am sick of always being sick, I have depleted my small savings and sold all I had to live another few months.
