If you are reading this then you have joined in the journey to support one of my best friends, Liz! Thank you for being here! For those who don't know me, I’m Jennifer. Liz and I have been close friends since our kids were little, and if you know her, you already know how blessed we all are to have her in our lives. Liz is funny, incredibly compassionate, deeply faithful, an amazing mom, and a wonderful wife to Nate. Right now, Liz and her family are gearing up for a journey they didn't plan on, and they’re going to need our love and support more than ever. Whether that means lifting them up in prayer, dropping off a hot meal, helping out with acts of service, or offering financial support, we want to make sure they feel completely loved and supported by their community! To fill you in a little on what’s been going on: earlier this year, Liz started having symptoms that seemed just like mastitis. What we hoped was just a routine health issue turned into a series of appointments and tests, which ultimately led to a diagnosis of Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (DCIS), or stage 0 breast cancer. Since getting the news, Liz, Nate, and the kids have been in a whirlwind of doctors, big decisions, and figuring out next steps. We are so incredibly grateful that it was caught early, but it’s still a really heavy, stressful thing to navigate. Because Liz is so deeply loved, trying to update everyone individually has gotten a bit overwhelming for the family. We set up this page as an easy, central spot to share her health updates, milestones, and specific prayer requests. Our hope is to lift that communication burden off their shoulders so Liz can put all her energy into healing. Most of all, this page is here to remind Liz that she is absolutely not walking this road alone. Many of you are asking themselves "How can I help", and this page will help us coordinate ways that you can support them and surround them with love. Please follow along, leave her sweet notes of encouragement, and keep the whole family in your daily prayers. Let’s pray for wisdom for her medical team, total peace when things feel uncertain, strength for each new day, and complete healing. Thank you so much for being on Liz's team. Your love, prayers, and kindness mean more to her and the family than words can even say. With so much gratitude, Jennifer
