Megan is officially bidding farewell to her uterus and undergoing a long-hoped-for hysterectomy on Thursday, December 18th. While this is a positive and anticipated step, it does come with a real recovery period—about 4–6 weeks of rest, healing, and limited mobility. Having gone through this surgery myself a couple of years ago, I can say firsthand that the recovery is no joke, even when the outcome is welcomed. Megan will be spending the next several weeks focusing on healing, moving slowly, and accepting all the care she can get. Help with meals, especially dinner, will be a huge support and greatly appreciated!!
