I will be having surgery on Jan. 22nd on my left ankle. The surgery is an ankle fusion they will be putting a metal rode in and scrapping out all the arthritis and cutting a part of my achilles. Full recovery is 6-9 months. I won’t be able to put any weight on my left leg for 10-12 weeks. This is where I and my family will need help. I do the majority of the cooking and cleaning in our home and it would be really helpful and much appreciated if we could get help with meals during the 10-12 weeks. I will be staying over night in the hospital they say one night but it all depends on pain and so forth. This is a major surgery for me and considering I have never had surgery before I’m kinda freaking out and very nervous about it and the recovery process as well. If you could help with a meal or two during this time it would be greatly appreciated. It’s hard for me to ask for help or support but I have been told to reach out ask.
