Helping the Barker Family

W
Story

Hello, my name is Danielle Stack, and I’m the High School Girls Team Mom for Pendleton Rugby. Today, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of a family that means so much to our rugby community. The Barker family has been a cherished part of our program for years. Ella and Ava Barker are not just teammates—they’re leaders, friends, and sisters to so many on and off the field. On Tuesday night, their parents, Emily and Larry, were involved in a devastating motorcycle accident. Emily was life-lined to Methodist Hospital, and Larry was transported to Muncie. Both are facing serious injuries, and right now, there’s no clear timeline for when they’ll be able to come home. In this moment of uncertainty, our rugby family is rallying around Ella and Ava. We’re raising funds to help ease the immediate financial strain and to show these girls that they are not alone. Gift cards for gas and food would make a meaningful difference as they navigate hospital visits and daily needs. Any contribution—no matter the size—will help lift a little of the weight they’re carrying. If you’re able, please consider helping the Barkers get through the days ahead. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more than words can express. Thank you for standing with this family who has given so much of themselves to our team.
