It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, who left this world peacefully at home, surrounded by the people who loved him most. At 81 years old, he took his final breath wrapped in the presence of his devoted wife, Nanette (Mama), his children Alex and Cathy, daughter in law Joan, grandchildren, Andrew, Avalynn, Aubrianna, Atlas his nephew Vince, and his sister MaryLou. His transition was gentle, filled with love—just as he lived his life. For nearly five decades of marriage—48 years this February 2025—Mama and Papa showed us all the true meaning of generosity, loyalty, and unconditional love. Anyone who knew them knows they would give the shirts off their backs to help someone in need. Papa lived a beautiful and fulfilling life surrounded by family, friends, and countless lives he touched with his kindness. Recently, Papa was diagnosed with metastatic brain cancer. In order to care for him around the clock, Mama had to take time away from work, and Alex and Cathy has also been unable to work while helping care for him and supporting the family. This sudden and difficult journey has placed a financial strain on those closest to him. We are reaching out with humble hearts to ask for support during this incredibly painful time. Any contribution—no matter how big or small—will go directly toward medical bills, hospice care costs, and funeral expenses. Your support will help lift some of the heavy weight from the family as they grieve and begin to heal. We are currently coordinating services with a local funeral home and will share details soon regarding arrangements, including where flowers or condolences may be sent. On behalf of the entire Cuenca family, we thank you for your love, prayers, and compassion. Please keep Mama, Alex, Cathy, and all of Papa’s loved ones in your thoughts as they navigate this heartbreaking loss. https://gofund.me/9b60a3029 From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.
Your support and prayers are greatly appreciated. Please remember Andrew's nut allergy when providing food or care items.
