Petra has been battling stage 4 breast cancer since 2020. She's had several rounds of radiation, which has caused damage to bones and a nasty open wound on the breast that won't heal. Petra has been on many different chemos since August 2023, which has caused even more damage to her body. Blood counts are low and the cancer has spread all over her bones, causing intolerable pain and difficulty walking. Cancer has also spread to lungs and liver. Petra knows women who have survived stage 4 breast cancer so she remains positive and hopeful. She's a go getter who has spent the last 5 years learning about healing and has so much wisdom and knowledge to share with others going through this battle. Petra dreams of opening a wellness clinic to help others with cancer. She also dreams of seeing her only son get married and have grandchildren. We believe God still has a purpose for her life and that healing is possible, with a little help from friends. It's hard enough to deal with side effects from toxic treatments on top of worrying about medical bills. Petra is overwhelmed by the enormous physical, emotional and financial strain cancer has caused. I would love to see her overwhelmed by your financial, emotional and prayer support instead, so she can focus on healing. The stress has even taken a toll on her husband, who recently had a stroke. Most of the treatments that offer her the best chance of healing aren’t covered by insurance. Travel costs, supplements, integrative therapies, consultations—all out of pocket. She's already spent thousands. I am hoping to raise $50,000 to help with medical bills and integrative therapies so she can strengthen her body to continue conventional chemo.
