Jillian remains in critical intensive care with an infection in her bloodstream that has traveled to the bone in her chest, specifically her sternum. Eventually, she will need surgery, possibly more than one, to clean out the infection in the bone. Right now, Jillian is not in a position to undergo such a significant surgery, so the focus remains on treating the infection and getting her more stable. She has a long road ahead of her, but is fighting with all she has to beat this and make it back home to the loves of her life. In the meantime, this meal train will help make Jake’s life a tiny bit easier as he continues to hold down the fort at home and care for their two precious little boys.
