Many of you know my sister has always been one of the first to show up with a meal, baked treats, or a helping hand whenever someone is going through a difficult time. She has a heart for serving others, and now it's our turn to bless her as she recovers from knee replacement surgery. Shawn will be there to help as much as he can, but he'll also be working and continuing to serve the veterans in our community. If you'd like to help lighten the load for them both, we'd be so grateful. Thank you for loving on two people who have spent so much of their lives loving and caring for others. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more than words can say.
Her favorites are pasta, chicken, fresh fruit, simple vegetables (no broccoli, zucchini, squash, eggplant, or seafood), along with soups, salads, and a good sub. Gift cards to local restaurants, DoorDash, or Uber Eats are also a wonderful option. Meals can be dropped off at the house during the first week. After that, they can be brought to Shawn's office so Christine can continue resting without having to get up to answer the door.
