Emily is one of my good friends, and she has been struggling for months now with a serious neurological disorder that causes chronic pain, speech difficulties, and vision changes among other things. She has been in and out of the hospital, and it has put a huge financial and energy strain on her and her husband, Allan. They have two young boys together, and Allan is currently serving Active Duty in the US Marine Corps. Looking at her, you would never know the internal struggles that Emily has been facing. She is incredibly strong and puts on a very brave face, and she strives to bring normalcy to her family. My goal is to find support for the Peterson family. Even basic household chores can be nearly impossible on a hard day. I am asking anyone who is able to support them in any way to please do so!
