My daughters and I are starting over after leaving an abusive marriage with little more than the clothes on our backs. While this has been one of the hardest decisions I've ever made, it was necessary to create a safer and healthier future for my children. We are currently facing significant financial hardship as we rebuild our lives. At the moment, I am experiencing delays with food stamp benefits, our pantry, refrigerator, and freezer are completely bare, and I have very limited financial resources. We also do not have a vehicle, which makes getting to food pantries, appointments, and other resources extremely difficult. This page has been created to help us through this fresh start.
