Dear Friends, We are reaching out to share an update regarding Camas. She is resting comfortably at home, surrounded by love and support, bringing a sense of peace and relief to everyone around her. Current Update & Next Steps Camas was recently diagnosed with stage 4 bile duct and liver cancer and is beginning palliative chemotherapy this week. Our primary focus is supporting her and her family during this time. We will keep you updated as new information becomes available, and we will be setting up a CaringBridge site soon to help coordinate communication. How You Can Support Many of you have asked how you can help. Camas, Mak, Ella, and Rose deeply appreciate our collective strength and support. Here are the most helpful ways you can step in right now: Words of Love & Comfort: Send notes and warm memories to surround her family with support. Respecting Privacy: Please keep calls and direct messages to a minimum, as the family takes time to rest and gather. Practical Assistance: Their fridge and freezer are currently full, but we are establishing a meal train and coordinating additional support (such as errands) as needs arise in the coming weeks. Sharing Fond Memories: Feel free to share photos or favorite memories that bring comfort to her family.
